7 Internet Tools I Would Hate to Lose

With the “no more free ning” announcement earlier in the year and the increasing number of applications we have distributed in the cloud, I began to think about internet technologies that would make life a bit more difficult if they were to suddenly fall by the wayside. These are things I use everyday an educator, school technology coordinator and/or all-around frood. While the list grows longer I have limited it to the top 7 here. All of these services are free or have free versions.

delicious Delicious – a social bookmarking site

rss RSS – particularly as it pertains to Feed Readers / News Aggregators

firefox-24 Firefox – browser of choice

google Google Docs – online documents from any computer

flickr Flickr – online photo sharing

twitter Twitter – networking and microblogging

podcast Podcasts – information and PD on-the-go

I’ll have to say without these 7, on-line life just wouldn’t be the same.

What’s on your list?
