ComicLife is fairly easy to use. Editable word/thought bubble templates are available (resize/reshape) as well as a number of fonts. It really lets you focus on layout and story.
As for plug-ins… I recently redid my blog and updated to WP 3. I had major problems and deactivated all of my plugins (which solved a lot of my problems). I found out I needed to upgrade from PHP 4 to PHP 5. I did that and everything seems to be working OK. I am adding the plug_ins back one at a time to be sure I don’t break my blog again. If I do, I want to be able to determine which Plug-in does it. Thanks for the subscribe to blog plug-in suggestion. I’ll look into it.

I like the comic book page pic you made. Is ComicLife hard to use, making those word/thought bubbles and all? looks like fun.

Good post in general. Switching off between text and media is a great way to keep your audience’s attention.
p.s. Do you have a subscribe to blog plug-in installed? you should consider one.

Sure Kathleen! No problem. I’ve only recently redone my blog and haven’t updated my “about” page. I guess I also should think about a blanket Creative Commons License for all works posted. Thanks for the pushing me to think about those things.
